About GroomerLink

Australia's most comprehensive dog grooming directory

Our Story

GroomerLink was born out of frustration – a shared experience that many Australian dog owners have faced.

Finding an available groomer can be a real challenge. Whether it's waiting weeks for an appointment, discovering your regular groomer has closed, or simply not knowing where to look beyond the first page of search results – the process is often more complicated than it should be.

We discovered that Australia has over 6.4 million pet dogs but fewer than 4,000 professional groomers nationwide. No wonder it's so difficult to book appointments, especially for breeds needing regular grooming!

That's when the idea for GroomerLink was born – a comprehensive, up-to-date directory connecting Australian dog owners with professional groomers across the country.

Our Mission

We're on a mission to make finding and booking dog groomers simpler for every Australian pet owner.

By creating the most complete directory of grooming services – from established salons to mobile groomers and home-based professionals – we're helping bridge the gap between supply and demand in an industry under pressure.

We believe that regular grooming is an essential part of responsible pet care, and no owner should struggle to find quality grooming for their dog, regardless of where they live in Australia.

Bootie after returning from overseas, badly in need of a groomer.

Our backgrounds span web development, data analysis, and digital marketing – but what unites us is our shared love of dogs and our firsthand experience with Australia's grooming shortage.

When our family dog Bootie returned from overseas all matted up, we struggled to find an available groomer. After calling dozens of places over several weeks, we finally found one – but the experience highlighted just how challenging the grooming landscape has become in Australia.

We've built GroomerLink using modern technology to ensure that our listings are accurate, comprehensive, and easier to navigate than generic search results.

Our Data & Listing Policy

Trustworthy information is our priority. Here's how we maintain our directory:

How We Source Listings

We compile our directory using verified business information from multiple sources, including official business registries, direct submissions, and manual verification.
